Nevada City School District

Nevada City School District has a reputation for excellent teachers, involved parents and community support. We also enjoy the financial assistance of the Nevada City Schools Foundation and Parent Teacher Clubs.

There are over 1,100 children in the district, in kindergarten through eighth grade, in six different school sites—four traditional, one charter, and one community day school.

• Click here for information about the BIKE BLAST! A fundraising event for the Nevada City School District. On May 15, 2010, the day before the Amgen Tour of California Bike Race. A cycling celebration including a 7.5 mile family ride, a 16 mile road ride and a 33 mile road ride, a bike rodeo, a trials course, bike repair and tuneup, music, kids entertainment, silent auction, food, and drinks. Join us for a fun-filled day!
